Kenneth Shore

Kenneth Shore is a trial lawyer focused on oil and gas and complex business disputes. He has been Board Certified in Oil, Gas, and Mineral Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 2006. After law school, Kenneth served as a law clerk to the Honorable David Folsom, United States District Judge for the Eastern District of Texas.

Kenneth represents operators, working-interest owners, mineral and royalty owners, and other industry participants in disputes involving mineral and leasehold title, lease termination, joint operating agreements, exploration agreements, AMIs, implied covenants, royalty provisions, surface use, oilfield accidents, and energy-related intellectual property.

Kenneth also represents clients in financial fraud, accounting malpractice, M&A, and commercial real estate disputes. His accounting background allows him to understand the financial records and business issues that often determine the outcome of those cases.

Kenneth’s understanding of oil and gas disputes extends beyond the governing agreements and legal principles. His experience as an oil and gas operator and energy-services business owner gives him firsthand insight into how wells are operated, how industry agreements work in practice, and how commercial and operational problems develop into litigation.
